Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
We collect your account email, hashed password, food log entries, and usage analytics. Photos or descriptions you submit for scanning are processed by our AI and are not stored beyond the scan.
2. How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide calorie tracking, history, and goal management features. Analytics help us identify crashes and improve the app.
3. AI processing
Food photos and descriptions are sent to OpenAI's API to identify nutritional content. This data is processed under OpenAI's data usage policies and is not used to train models per their enterprise terms.
4. Data sharing
We share data only with essential service providers: our hosting infrastructure, OpenAI (for AI scanning), and payment processors. We never sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
Food logs and account data are retained until you delete your account. You can request full deletion at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, visit our account deletion page or use Settings inside the app.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
8. Children
This app is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
