Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using JuggleStar ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read and agree to these Terms on your behalf. By allowing a child to use the App, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms in full.
2. Who Can Use the App
The App is intended for children aged 5–17 under active parental supervision. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for monitoring their child's use of the App and ensuring any physical activity is appropriate for the child's age and fitness level.
3. What the App Does
JuggleStar uses your device's camera to detect and count football juggling touches in real time using on-device processing. No video footage is recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server. All camera processing occurs locally on your device and ceases when the session ends.
4. Physical Activity & Safety
The App involves physical activity. By using the App, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risk of injury. You are solely responsible for ensuring the playing area is safe and clear of obstacles. JuggleStar and its developers accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, accident, loss, or harm arising from physical activity undertaken while using the App, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
JuggleStar offers optional premium features through a paid subscription ("JuggleStar Plus"). Subscriptions are processed through your app store account in accordance with their respective terms. You may cancel at any time through your app store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including the JuggleStar name and logo, software, code, graphics, animations, and scoring systems — is the exclusive intellectual property of JuggleStar and its developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: manipulate or artificially inflate juggling scores; reverse-engineer or decompile the App; use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its servers; or use automated tools or bots in connection with the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JuggleStar and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any disputes.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
