Privacy Policy

JuggleStar is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. We collect the minimum data needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. No video is ever recorded or uploaded.

1. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

JuggleStar is designed for children under 13 with verifiable parental consent. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without prior parental consent obtained through our onboarding process.

2. What We Collect

  • Camera access: Used only during active juggling sessions to count touches. No video is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. All processing happens on your device.
  • Player name and age: Stored locally on your device to personalise your experience.
  • Juggling scores and session data: Stored on our secure servers to power leaderboards and track progress. Scores are linked to your account username only.
  • Account information: If you create an account, we store your email address for authentication purposes only.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • No video or images are recorded or uploaded
  • No location data
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No data sold to third parties
  • No social features or in-app messaging

4. How We Use Information

We use information solely to: operate and improve the App, display leaderboards and personal progress, authenticate your account, and send optional session reminder notifications (if enabled by the user).

5. Data Storage & Security

Account and score data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit. Local device data (name, age preferences) never leaves your device.

6. Third-Party Services

  • RevenueCat — subscription management (no personal data shared beyond purchase receipts)
  • Sentry — anonymous crash reporting to improve app stability

7. Parental Rights

Parents and guardians may at any time: request to review information collected about their child, request deletion of their child's data, or withdraw consent and delete the account. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@computerteam.com.au.

8. Data Retention

Account and score data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
