Microphone / Audio: VoXa uses your device’s microphone to capture speech when you press and hold the record button. The captured audio is sent to our server, where it is transcribed by OpenAI’s Whisper API and translated. We do not store your audio recordings. Audio is processed in memory and discarded immediately after translation.
Transcriptions and translations: Recent transcriptions and translations are stored locally on your device only, so you can review your history. They are not sent to our servers for storage.
Account data: If you create an account, we store your email address and a secure password hash to authenticate you. We use Resend to deliver login codes and password-reset emails.
Subscriptions: Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat on our behalf. Payments are handled by Google Play or the App Store — we never see your payment details.
